Today will be another busy day. We will be going to Laoag later this evening, together with my church mates. Last outing ko na to bago ako pumasok sa Flying School, relax relax muna. :D
Last Night:
Last night, I went to Windgate Villas because it is Mark and AJs birthday. Maybe it will be the last time that I will see my friends in school, because I will be so busy when I go to flight school. Nakakainggit sila, magkakasama kasi sila sa FEU, puro pa sila Nursing. Di kaya sila magsawa sa isat isa…? We left at around 9:30 in the evening. I brought my cousins car so before we went home, we had a road trip together with my friends, eddel and charls. Ang sarap mangtrip! Grabeh… We went to Quezon Ave. it was around 10 in the evening, and there were ehem*(boys stuff), but we did not tried one. Good boys kame! So we continued to stroll because I was looking for a Metrobank ATM so I can withdraw money to fill up the car. We went to 3 Metrobanks but unfortunately, their ATMs were closed. I saw one of my church mates who was a BMX biker in Visayas ave cor. Congressional and told me that the MetroBank in proj.6 is open, so we went there. Luckily, it is open so I was able to withdraw money and fill up the car. It was really a great night. Driving in a car with your friends, just strolling around the streets of Quezon City. We were like racers looking for trouble. There was this Pajero whot was also driving at high speed so we tailgated it, and we were following it wherever it goes. Eventually, we lost it so we just continued to stroll around. When I went home at around 2330H, some of my church mates suddenly arrived. They were inviting me to have a sleep over in our friends house. So we went there, and we ate dinner first. Very late midnight snack! We ate tira tirang rice and no cook sardines and corned beef! Yes, its no cook. Straight from the can to the plate ba.. hehehehe! :D After eating, we played a DOTA at a nearby PC shop. We finished playing at around 230 in the morning already. Nakakawili mag DOTA kasi eh. So when we got back to our friends house, we didnt sleep yet. We had some talk, bonding ba… Usap binata (boys stuff) hehehehe! :D
Hay, eto na ang mga huling araw nang aking pagkabinata, dahil akoy ikakasal na! whapak! Joke lang! This may be the last time that I will be doing this stuff, you know, the things that highschool boys do.. Maybe next time, we will be talking of something else. Something more of grown ups stuff. Siyempre college na eh! Pero who knows, baka pagpasok ko nang college mas malala pa pala.. :D
Thats it for today, I need to start packing my things! Laoag! Here we come! Ill tell you about my stories of Laoag when we return.! Ciao.

Just came home from another tiring day. For the past 3 days, I have been really tired because of our DVBS (Daily Vacation Bible School). We are teaching kids from our area about the bible in our church. This year I am with the juniors class, unlike last time because I was a teacher of the youth class. This time I am not a teacher, since I do not really like teaching children so I am just assisting in the activities. Some of the children are very naughty. May nagsapakan pa nga eh. But its ok, they are kids, what do you expect?..:D Our class has the most number of students averaging of 50 students per day. And I think we are the noisiest class, because we are the only class who spends some time on games. This DVBS is really a good experience, since we are able to share about God to small children; all of our efforts are worth it when you see your students growing as a good God-fearing citizen.
Licensed
After 2 months of waiting, I finally got my non professional drivers license! Yey! Yes, I do have to wait for two months because when I first tried to get my license last March, I failed the written exams! The passing score was 30 pts. And my score was 29! Man, think of a really bad experience. Well, it was actually my fault because I did not review for the exam; examinees are given enough time to review with their supplied reviewer which contains the answers to all of the questions in the exam. I just told the examiner:
Maam, di na ako magrereview, kaya ko na to.
Overconfident! Hahahaha! Nakakaasar talaga! Eventually I need to take another test after 1 month. When I returned to LTO last April to take my re-test, they told me that I should have a valid Student Permit that is at least one month old. Unfortunately, my student permit was already expired, so instead of taking another test, I just applied for a new student permit and I will have to wait for another month so I can apply for my license. Finally, that day came. Today, I did not go to our DVBS because I went to LTO to get my license, and at last I was able to pass the exam with 36 pts. just 4 mistakes. After 6 hours of long wait at LTO (from 0800H-1400H) I finally got my license. =)
Here is a picture of it with my Califronia State ID:

Dogs love me!
For the past 2 days I have been so tired and I lack sleep because of my almost busy schedule. Although I was not able to fetch Gabelle yesterday, I was able to see her when I went to her house. I really missed her alot! My time and effort was worth it, seeing her again after several days was worth more than a game of DOTA. At her house, we talked as time flew by, but her dog. He likes me! Malakas talaga appeal ko sa mga aso tulad ni spunky hehehehe! =)
3 hours only!
I went home at around 1900H, ate dinner then I was off to church for our monthly overnight fellowship. When I went there, no one was there except my best bud, Roy. So we decided to have a short DOTA game, which really turned out bad for me. After that, we went back to church and had our fellowship. The fellowship ended at around 1:30 in the morning. Then we had breakfast. Kape, Milo at Pandesal courtesy of Pan De Manila. Then the girls and some boys played a very childish game. Dr. Quack Quack, I did not join them because it is very childish! matanda na kasi ako eh! hehehe =) I just sat and watched them while playing my friends guitar. At around 2:30, some were already tired so they went to sleep while some went home, including my cousins. I decided to stay for awhile. Kwentuhan muna kame nila Rodney, Pastor JR at Mae. And then at the end it was only I and Mae left. Patibayan eh! hehehe! We talked about lots of things from school to lovelife. We were just sharing thoughts until noticed that there is already light outside. When I looked at the clock, it is already 5:30. It is just then that I remembered that we were leaving at 9 oclock this morning because we were going to La Mesa eco park for the dedication of Kuya Edgars daughter. I only have 3 hours left to sleep.
caught in the Rainforest
It was my first time at La Mesa eco park. It is a nice place, and people specially nature lovers will appreciate it since it is a protected forest. We had a great time. We ate lots of food! Grabe ang sarap ng kaldereta! After eating, the rain started to fall. At first it was only weak, but eventually it became stronger. Grabe basang basa kame sa sobrang lakas ng ulan. We went home and luckily there is no power. Buti nalang umulan kaya malamig onti. Then I was able to sleep for 1 precious hour.
Kuya Mels car.
When I woke up, I decided to take my cousins car for a stroll. They borrowed our Tamaraw FX in exchange for their Mazda 323. It is ours for 1 day so I decided to grab the opportunity to drive a car, since I seldom drive a car. Dad was not at home so I decided to stroll around and go to circle c. Grabe! ang sarap talaga magdrive ng kotse! ibang iba sa FX.. when you step on the gas, you will really feel the acceleration. I never thought that Kuya Mels car runs that fast. I was like doing 80 km/hr in congressional ave. but of course the roads are clear, and my dad and my cousin did not and never will know it.. hehehehe!

Just finished eating lunch. Yesterday, we went to Bulacan. My dad woke me up at 0700H, and I only slept for 6 hours because I was talking with Gabelle the other night. We were talking up to 0100H. It was really hard to wake up, but I have no choice because I am the driver. We arrived in Bulacan at around 1100H, just in time for lunch. Once again, I was able to eat lechon! (High blood!). Later that night, we were able to watch the Santacruzan in our Barangay. The Santacruzan this year is unique because the participants are all grown ups. It is really unique because the usual Santacruzan is composed of youth participants. Some of my cousins are part of it. Then at around 1100H we watched a basketball game in the barangay plaza. We were supposed to go home at midnight but my dad decided to finish the game so we slept in my grandmothers house and left at 4 am. I only had 3 hours of sleep. I am really sleepy.
I just received an sms from Gabelle. I can not be with her today. I was supposed to fetch her from Benilde, but her sister will fetch her instead. Man, I suddenly felt very sad. I was really excited to be with her, it has been two weeks I think since I last saw her and today was the only chance but I guess it wont happen after all. I suddenly felt depressed, I was actually ready to leave, after this post, I was already supposed to take a bath and get dressed up, even if I am feeling sleepy, it doesnt matter because I am excited to see her but it will not happen. Another spoiled opportunity for me. Too bad. =( I thought that this will be the last day that I will see her, because when my classes start, then I do not have time to be with her. I will be staying at my dorm and will be going home during weekends, but I can not be with her during Saturdays because she will be busy, while I am busy during Sundays. Man, this will be really hard for us. Just as Dr. Cecille said:
Distance makes one heart fonder for another
( I think thats what she said.)

Im back. We were not able to go to Bulacan today. Biglang tinamad si daddy nung nagpapapagas kame sa Petron. So we just brought my cousin to the MRT station and went to SM instead. I bought some stuff that I am gonna need at my dorm. 6 pairs of black socks and 2 slippers. While we were in SM. My dad saw this Toyota Vios and started asking the agent about the price and details and stuff, and while they were having a conversation about the car, I suddenly heard him telling the agent about me.
Etong anak ko eh, kung nag Nursing lang sana ibibili ko kaagad ng kotse, Eh kaso nag piloto eh.
Then the agent suddenly started talking to me. As if he was trying to convince me to take up Nursing instead, so I could have a car. I was also thinking. What if I chose to be a nurse? Then I would be driving going to UST in my car. Oohh.. Earlier this morning, my cousin from Los Angeles called us. She was a nurse, and yes, she earns big bucks. She was even telling me that she just got her brand new Lexus this week. I was like, WOW! you are driving a Lexus! When we were there last year, their car was an old Honda civic. And it is really old. Just after a year of work, she already has a brand new car. Then she asked me...
o ano? Nursing ka na?
Then I was like,
Hindi. Nag piloto nalang ako. (in a soft voice manner)
When I was in the States, they were all telling me to take up Nursing; because most of my cousins are Nurses; my parents are both Nurses; and almost all of my cousins in college are taking up Nursing.. We are like becoming the clan of Nurses. Man, that would be odd for me, I will be the only one who will be taking up a different course. When my cousin learned that I will take up Aviation. She was asking me why? Then I let her speak to my dad, and my dad said it all. It was really my dream to be a pilot. My dad tried to discourage me but still I am holding on to it. I dont care if Nurses earn a lot of money. Infact, pilots earn a lot more if you are qualified as an Airline pilot. And I would not exchange having the privilege of driving my own car to a big university for the joy of flying airplanes. I may not drive a luxurious car that cruises at 200 km/hr; but i would rather fly an aircraft that flies at 39000ft, at 500 knots. hahaha!:D
About Gabelle, I really did something very stupid.. I forgot something.. I just cant imagine the fact that I forgot it.. It was last Monday, and I think that she is mad at me... I hope things will be ok for us..

I thought it was going to be raining all day, but the sun shined! wohoo!!!:D I guess I am gonna bring my shades after all. We had sudden plans. We will be going to Bulacan today. The original plan is I will just bring my cousin to the MRT station, but my aunt texted my dad that there is an occasion in Bulacan. May litson daw eh.. :D kaya heto kame.. to the rescue!!! hehehehe!
I will be the driver, so I need to prepare the car! ciao.

I am really tired right now; I just got home from a busy day. We started early today because we need to be in Airlink by 1000H. At Airlink, they got my measurements for my uniform, and then we paid my dorm rent. While we were in the Accounting office, there were also some students who were also getting their measurements, maybe some of them will be my future classmates. I am really excited right now. I was not like this before. Usually when school season draws nearer, I just want to have a vacation. But now, I want to start my classes as soon as possible. I was not able to see the dorm since they were too busy; I will just see it on June 4, before my classes start. I am also excited to have my uniform and my books. I am already feeling the thrill of a fledgling student pilot. When we were in the accounting office, there were some student pilots who just arrived from their flight from Lubang Island. Most of them are ranked as First Officers since they have 2 stripes in their shoulder boards and they have their silver wing pins on their chest. When I was on line in the cashier, one pilot stood behind me. Deep inside my mind, I was thinking.
Wow! I will be like this guy after 4 years!
When I was standing beside him, I stood straight and tall and showed him that I am a dignified person and that I can be a pilot also. He was just about my height, and I think he saw me looking at his wings. Maybe he was thinking that I am envious of him, but I really am. Man, those silver wings are really cool. I cant wait to have mine. When I went down to the registrars office to get my schedule, there were more pilots. It is like the pilots haven. I seldom see a place full of pilots at a given time, maybe I should get used to it. I overheard one pilot who was telling a story about his experience in his flight earlier today. He really had a scary experience. He said that the winds in Lubang were very strong, at around 20 knots. During his take off, at 700 ft. they experienced a down draft or a sudden loss of altitude because of strong winds, they were able to level out at 300 ft. Man that is really scary, just imagine a sudden fall after take off with a very low altitude at 700 ft. He was telling the other student pilot
Pare, akala ko didiretso na kami sa dagat, kinabahan talaga ako kaya hinatak ko ng todo, buti nakabawi kame.
He was talking about a near death experience. But yet, when I saw him, it seems like that it is normal to him. Still there is no sign of coward ness in his reactions. Truly, the life of a pilot is really risky. Every time you fly, there is always a lot of risk involved. But thats what makes this profession unique.
After that, we went to Prudentialife in Makati, then we went to Glorietta to eat our lunch. We ate at Illongo grill and my dad ordered chicken barbeque. When he was eating, the chicken tasted really bad. Its smells like LPG. So he told the waiter about it, and when the waiter was able to confirm it. He offered my dad anything. So my dad chose sizzling sisig.
Sige sir, palitan nalang namen, pili nalang kayo ng kahit anong gusto niyo
After that, we went to the bank to get my ATM then we went to Loyola together with my cousins to visit my Lola because it is her birthday today. We just lit a candle and left a rose. After that, we ate at Hap Chan then went home. So thats it. Im really tired. I need a shower.

A very happy mothers day to my mom! I can not greet her personally cause she is in London. Earlier this morning, our church had a surprise for all the mothers. We treated the mothers to an all expense paid lunch at chowking! And yes, they were surprised. After our church we were not able to go to the mothers day celebration because we went to Norzagaray, Bulacan. My dad is one of the principal sponsors for the wedding of his friend whom he met in his review class. I am the official driver of my dad again as usual. We left at around 1300H. We stopped at Petron in Commonwealth ave. to have gas. But I had this funny experience. When the gasoline guy gave me the change, I thought that the filling was done. So I started to roll, then the guy shouted
Hoy! Hindi pa tapos!
And he was laughing while he was scratching his head. My dad was also laughing because it also happens to him. We reached the church just in time for the wedding. When we are going home, I really need to drive fast because we were catching the evening service in our church. So my dad gave me the clearance to drive fast and thankfully I was successful. It really feels great, driving at 80 km/hr in a secondary road, windows down and lots of jeepneys to overtake. I was able to make it back at around 1900H. Our travel time was about 20 minutes earlier when we were going back. So that is it for today. I will be going to Airlink tomorrow, we will be fitting our uniforms, and I am excited to have them. Feeling pilot na eh.. hehehe! I will be checking out also the dorm, the place where I will mostly stay for the next 4 years. I think I will like it there. Just imagine living beside the domestic airport and beside runway 13/31 of NAIA. Every time I wake up, I will be hearing the engines of the Cebu Pacific or Air Philippines jets taking off at the runway. I am expecting a lot in the dorm. I just hope it has windows.

I woke up at around 9:30 today. Got nothing to do, so I went to my dad’s bedroom and fixed his bed coz its so messy. Just imagine a 250 lb. guy sleeping and rolling on a bed, of course it would be messy. I didn’t even get to fix my own bed.
-yesterday-
I finally had my ATM account yesterday. It will be used for my daily allowance, since my dad will be leaving for the US this coming July so he cannot give me my allowance on a daily or a weekly basis, so he will give my allowance for 6 months in advance before he leaves. In the span of 6 months, from July to December my allowance will be Php 12,000, so that's Php 2000 a month, or Php 100 a day. Just like my allowance when I was in High School. I think my allowance is just ok, since I don’t have any daily expenses. I don’t need to worry about the food, laundry and everyday travel fare since I will be living in a dormitory inside Airlink, and they’re in charge of my food and laundry. I’ll just use my allowance for my cell phone expenses and the gasoline of our Tamaraw FX, if ever the Airlink administration will allow me to bring a vehicle and use it in a weekly basis. I just need to have control, and not to withdraw my money all at once.
-last night-
Finally, Gabelle and I was able to talk. I think for the past 3 days we’ve been losing communication. And I know that communication is very important in a relationship. Once you lose communication, you’re in trouble. Just like in flying airplanes, communication is very important, if you lost communication while you’re flying, especially in bad weather, man, you are really in deep trouble.
“Cessna Sierra Whiskey, do you copy? Please respond.”
“Cessna Sierra Whiskey, you are in a restricted airspace, you are ordered to land.”
Yesterday, I had an extensive lesson regarding VOR Navigation in Microsoft Flight Simulator. For the past years that I’m playing flight simulator, its just yesterday that I was able to understand this particular lesson regarding navigation. Its really hard I should say, but still I cannot fully understand it. I need more study time. Here is a screenshot. I was trying to intercept the Everett VOR. I think I spoiled it.. hahaha :D

Yeah! My blog got a new layout! Special thanks to pareh for the help. Although she was a hundred miles away, she was able to help me out with my blog. Of course the theme would be about Airplanes (siyempre piloto eh). And the tag box, it's courtesy of Gabelle. I just saw it in her blog and I decided to have one also. And about Gabelle, its been a long time since we last talked, 4 days I think. And now I am starting to feel the sadness. Ang hirap din pala. I'm not that busy though. I've just been thinking for the past days.
About today:
I woke up late, it was about 1000H. Once again, I don't want to take breakfast. I'm not in the mood. I just watched TV for a while and then went on the internet to check the Philskies forum and my blog. I tried looking for a new layout but I was not able to look for the one with an airplane theme on it. We took an early lunch, and after our lunch, I took a bath because we will surely be going to the bank to get my ATM account. When we were at Equitable PCI and about to get my new account, the teller asked us. "Nasan po ang birth certificate niyo?" And guess what? We left it at home! Hahaha :D oh well, there's still tomorrow. So after that we went to SM. Magpapalamig nanaman kame ni daddy..:D We walked for about an hour and after that, he decided to eat at Cabalen, merienda buffet. Andaming pagkain! Sira ang figure!( kung meron man… hehehe:D). After that, we went home. While we were in Pag-asa corner Mindanao Ave. I saw a blue Vios with the A-1 driving school logo on its back. Kaasar nga eh! Siya yung nasa unahan, kaya nung nag green light na.. Antagal namen bago nakaandar kase antagal niya umandar. Pero its understandanble since he/she is only a student driver. I blew my horn at that car when I overtaked it but it's a sign of hello and not to tell him/her to drive aside or give way. When we passed it I looked back to see if its Gabelle but the light reflected on the windshield so I was not able to see the driver. So I drove straight home. So that's it for today. I'll get you posted tomorrow. Maybe I'll do some cross wind take off's in my Flight Simulator, then I'll watch Wonderful Life. Ciao.

What in the world is this!? I still can't believe that I am doing this. I really had lots of time to spare today. I woke up and immediately did my ab workout in my ab king pro™, I felt lazy to have my breakfast since its already 1030H so after my ab workout I just wathced my dad while he is cooking. I helped him in skinning the ginger and its really hard! I really need to have skills using the knife since im gonna need it in my upcoming college subject, "Jungle and Sea Survival". So my dad cooked the Kandule and during our lucnh we ate adobong kandule while watching Kris Aquino in "Game Ka na BA?".. After our lunch, I felt sleepy so I went to my parents bedroom and put some Urbandub music on and slept for about an hour. When I woke up my dad told me that we will be going to the bank to get an ATM account for me. Theyr'e already preparing me for my college life since my dad will be leaving in June. So I took a bath and got dressed. While my father was taking a bath, I played my Microsoft flight simulator. I've been playing this flight simulation game for 3 years now so I can say that I'm a pretty good virtual pilot (but of course, the real thing is much more different). However, when I tried the Private Pilot Checkride, (a virtual flying test for pilots) I failed it 3 times. I felt really pissed because I can't even perform a correct steep turn (which is supposed to be a simple maneuver for pilots). After failing 3 times I just stopped the flight simulator since we are already leaving, but when we are about to leave one of my friends came, and he and my dad had a talk about our church. It is some kind of church issue. So we were not able to go to the bank because its already 5 oclock. So we just went to the market and had my pants cut.
So thats it for today. I felt bored since I dont have anything to do so I made this blog. I really dont like having a blog since you need to update it once in a while, but since I dont have anything to do, I might just have one as well. It is also a nice place to share my experiences specially when I start my college life, when I start fulfilling my dream and passion of becoming a pilot. I'll try my best to keep this updated... I'll prove you wrong pareh! :D kaya ko nang magkablog ngayon.. hehehehe!
